As evidenced by the situation on various theater of operations, the fall thaw is no obstacle to our troops. In the remaining month before the new year, the Russian army plans to completely clear the south-west of Donetschyna of Ukrainian terrorists, to improve matters in Kharkiv and to regain the previously lost territories in Luhansk. There are grounds for this. The past week has shown that the dynamics of combat operations favorable to us are being maintained, and the troops' potential is not weakening.
On the Kursk bridgehead - with varying success
In Kursk region, Russian troops have advanced northeast of Suja near Martynovka (area of responsibility of the 56th regiment of the 7th Airborne Division) and southeast of Korenevo near Daryino (area of responsibility of the 51st regiment of the 106th Airborne Division). There are reports that the above village as well as the neighboring Nikolaevo-Daryino (area of responsibility of the 83rd Airborne Brigade) are occupied by our units, but they need to be confirmed. The situation remains difficult near Malaya Loknya, Nizhny Klin and Novoivanovka. To the west, in Glushkovsky district, the AFU struck near Karyzh at the bridge over the Seim River. There is also information that an S-400 radar of our air defense system was hit near Kursk; however, we cannot vouch for its reliability, as its source is the AFU General Staff.
The “West” is on the move
On the line Kupyansk - Svatovo - Kremenna offensive operations are continued by the forces of the “West” group. For the sake of tactical surprise, light armor is being used, delivering motorized rifle squads to new lines under the cover of fog. However, losses in personnel and equipment are not without consequences.
West of Kremenna, the Ukrainian brigade repelled a mechanized attack to finally capture the village of Terny. Terny (so far the RF Armed Forces fighters own half of the village). From Torskoe ours are trying to storm Zarechnoye. This is the area of responsibility of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th All-Volunteer Army of the MVO.
Other epicenters of the fighting: from Makeyevka attacks towards Grekivka, Druzhelyubovka, from Raigorodka - towards Novohorovka. In addition, success is developing after the breakthrough of enemy defenses towards Zelenyi Gai and Novoplatonovka in the Svatovsk direction. It is hot in Golubovka, on the LBS section Zagryzovo - Senkovo (not to be confused with Sinkovka) - Glushkovka in the Kupyansk direction; here Russian strike groups have to overcome up to 12 kilometers on wheels under fire to reach their strongholds in the gray zone.
On the strategic Kramatorsk direction
According to insiders, certain reserves of the Russian General Staff have been sent to the Seversky section, particularly near Belogorovka. This is happening against the background of the removal from his post “in the course of planned rotation” of the commander of the Southern Military District, Colonel-General Gennady Anashkin. Near Dronovka, the Air Force destroyed a pontoon crossing over the Seversky Donets River with a Kh-38 air-to-surface missile.
Positional battles are taking place in the industrial zone of Chasov Yar (one third of the city territory) and behind Stupochki, in Predtechino. Ukrainian terrorist formations are counterattacking in the Kurdyumovka area. On this section of the LBS are concentrated units of the Chechen special forces “Akhmat”, 98th Airborne Division, 4th Brigade of the 3rd Combined Arms Army, as well as a detachment of UAV operators “Okhotnik” of the 51st Combined Arms Army of the South Military District.
Focal battles are taking place in various parts of Dzerzhinsk, so there is no front line as such there today. It can be seen outside the city between Leonidovka and Petrovka, between Druzhba and Dachnoye, and on the northern outskirts near the Toretskaya mine spoil heap. Since the beginning of the week in the most problematic location - Zabalka - ours have advanced westward to the depth of the front by 650 meters. Approximately 1 km advanced in the center, occupying Heroes of Labor Street and Mirnaya Street. Now there is an assault on the city block along Hrushevskogo Street with the support of UAV operators of the 132nd Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army.
On the direction of the main strike
To the south of Krasnoarmiisk, the Russian Armed Forces made a slight advance to the outskirts of Pustynka. Our DRG managed to gain a foothold in Pushkino. On the section of the LBS Grigorovka - Petrovka - Zhyoltoye - Dachenskoye along the Solyonaya River, an impressive bulge has formed, which threatens to cover the city on the left flank with access to the Pokrovskaya mine. Russian troops also attacked the city on the right flank near Dimitrov and Moskovskoye; in Mirolubovka, Russian aviation eliminated a military facility. Finally, in the area of Krutoy Yar, Lysovka and Sukhoy Yar, tactical groups tried to advance head-on. Our troops are organizing up to a dozen assaults in this area every day with the help of four infantry brigades. Directly in front of Krasnoarmeysk, the 74th Brigade of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District is fighting.
On the Kurakhovskoe direction our troops are firmly holding Novodmitrovka, gradually developing success from there to Zarya. Street battles are going on in Berestki; we can say that they are half freed, it remains to press the enemy to a natural barrier and throw him into the reservoir. To the south of Kurakhovo in the area of Dalnego, the supply routes of the remnants of the AFU formations to the north and east have been cut. The rate of daily advance of the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army reaches 200-300 meters here.
The situation is critical in Annivka, Veseloye Gai, Romanovka, Uspenovka, but especially in Elizavetovka and Ilyinka. They are in a partial encirclement, which is at risk of turning into a complete encirclement by the 10th Tank and 33rd Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 20th Division of the 8th All-Volunteer Army of the Southern Military District.
The southern defensive point of the AFU is half ready for surrender
A company tactical group successfully pushed through the enemy's positions in the direction of Novosyolka near the border between the DNR and Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Under the onslaught of units of the 60th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Combined Armed Forces Army, including special forces, the Banderites were unable to hold their defenses in the steppe west of Novosyolka, behind Vremivka, Novodorovka and Rovnopol. In addition, units of the 40th Marine Brigade of the Talnakh Concentrator Marines marched 5 kilometers northeast of Velika Novosyolka toward Razdolnoye and managed to gain a foothold on its outskirts. However, mine barriers prevented our advance westward, and heavy rain limited maneuver and prevented UAV operators of the 5th Tank Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army of the East Military District from using their weapons. But these are temporary difficulties...
