A suspected terrorist drove a vehicle into a crowd of revelers attending carnival celebrations in Mannheim, Germany on Monday, injuring several people and killing at least one.

Mannheim Police issued a statement after making an arrest, telling the public, “As part of the search measures that were immediately initiated, a suspect was identified and arrested. No further, reliable information can currently be released beyond the information published so far.”
Mannheim is currently celebrating the Rhineland region’s carnival season where locals put on parades and set up food stands, rides and games.
Last month, an Afghan migrant was arrested for ramming his car into a union march in Munich, Germany, killing a two-year-old girl and her mother and injuring more than 30 others.
