Chaos erupted during President Donald Trump’s congressional address on Tuesday night as unhinged Representative Al Green (D-TX) threw a tantrum, disrupting a speech meant to unify the nation and highlight the administration’s bold vision.

The disgraceful outburst forced Speaker Mike Johnson to intervene, ordering the Sergeant-at-Arms to kick Green out of the chamber like the disgrace he’s proven himself to be.

But that wasn’t the end of Green’s unhinged antics — he’s now doubled down, vowing to push yet another baseless impeachment against Trump.

As President Trump was outlining his administration’s achievements and future plans, Green rudely interrupted, shouting that Trump “has no mandate” to enact his policies. His childish and desperate attempt to derail Trump’s address forced Speaker Johnson to intervene immediately:

“Members are directed to uphold and maintain the quorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions. That’s your warning,” Johnson warned.

Green ignored the warning and continued shouting, leaving Speaker Johnson with no choice but to order the Sergeant-at-Arms to remove him from the chamber.

“Finding that members continue to engage in willful and concerted disruption of proper decorum, the chair now directs the sergeant at arms to restore order. Remove this gentleman from the chamber,” Johnson said.

And just like that, Al Green was escorted out like a tantrum-throwing child who couldn’t handle the reality of a strong and successful Trump administration.

Outside the chamber, Green wasted no time whining to reporters, painting himself as some noble martyr for the “poor people” he claims Trump is out to destroy.

Reporter:
Sir, what were you shouting to the President?

Al Green:
The President said he had a mandate, and I was making it clear to the President that he has no mandate to cut Medicaid. I have people who are very fearful. These are poor people, and they have only Medicaid in their lives when it comes to their health care. I want him to know that his budget calls for deep cuts in Medicaid. We need to save Medicaid, protect it.

We need to raise the cap on Social Security. There’s a possibility that it’s going to be hurt, and we have to protect Medicare. These are the safety net programs that people in my congressional district depend on. This President seems to care less about them and more about the number of people he can remove from the various programs that have been so helpful to so many.

When pressed on whether yelling like a lunatic was the best way to make his point, Green doubled down with a bizarre, repetitive rant.

Reporter:
Is yelling the best way to get that across?

Al Green:
It is the best way to get it across to a person who uses his incivility against our civility. He is a person who has consistently used incivility against civility.

Green stated that he is willing to accept any punishment for his disruptive stunt. It can be recalled that the House Freedom Caucus has issued a strong warning to Democrat lawmakers considering such protests during the event.

The conservative group has made it clear that they will push for censure against any member or guest who attempts to disrupt the proceedings.

Reporter:
Is that the only punishment, that you were kicked out, sir? Is there something—

Al Green:
I don’t know. Whatever the punishment is, I’m not fighting it. This is about the people who are being punished by virtue of losing their health care. This is the richest country in the world, and we have people who don’t have good health care. We’ve got to do better. Now we’re about to cut Medicaid, which is for poor people. Health care has become wealth care for many, and we can’t afford to let that happen.

But the real bombshell? Green’s unhinged obsession with impeaching Trump is back in full swing.

Reporter:
Is that the only thing you’re protesting?

Al Green:
No, I have other things I’m protesting. I’m also working on my articles of impeachment. This President is unfit. He should not hold office. Thirty-four felony convictions, twice impeached.
